Cultivating champions & empowering young athletes to reach their full potential.
"The team have energy, are organised and are most importantly encouraging and supportive with our children."
Miss Kushla, Edge Early Learning Pimpama
Since our establishment, we have been committed to going above and beyond to ensure that your child receives the best co-curricular activity at childcare, one they will eagerly look forward to each week.
Our high-quality lessons are designed to accelerate physical development, allowing all children to progress and acquire a versatile skillset before entering school.
At SP Tennis & Paediatric Wellness, we firmly believe in the importance of versatility and innovation. Each week, we focus on different skills to keep the kids engaged and challenge them in a supportive and fun environment.
Guided by the Early Years Learning Framework, we prioritize holistic growth beyond tennis skills. Our program achieves:
Identity and Belonging: Fostering self-esteem, confidence, and a sense of belonging.
Well-being: Promoting physical and emotional health, resilience, and self-care.
Learning and Development: Encouraging curiosity, creativity, and a love for learning.
Communication: Empowering confident expression, active listening, and effective communication skills.
Community Engagement: Building connections with families, coaches, and the community, promoting responsibility and citizenship.
With our holistic approach, SP Tennis & Paediatric Wellness supports well-rounded individuals, equipped with essential life skills beyond the court.
Our program is specifically for age groups between 3-5 years old.
Through the dedication of our great coaches, we have managed to help children in this age group achieve competency at Red Ball & Orange Ball levels.
We are confident that we will continue to help many little athletes exceed expectations and have a competitive advantage before they have their tennis session at their new school or out in the community.
Our 3 year old pre-kindergarten classes engage in extra gross motor skills and physical exercises in their lessons. They will then transition into our tennis programs after turning 4 years old.
Through structured activities and games, children practice and develop these skills, with difficulty gradually increasing over time. Cooperative play activities encourage social interaction, teamwork, and communication.
The lesson concludes with a cool-down period to promote flexibility and prevent muscle soreness.
Beginner-friendly with larger, low-bounce red ball and kid-sized courts for easy play.
Progress from Red with higher, faster ball bounce and slightly larger court.
Increase to a full-size court with another increase in ball speed and bounce.
